Compression Garments

BIOS Living Compression Stockings & Socks are designed to meet the lifestyle needs of
most compression therapy patients. The compression garments are available in two
graduated compression levels 15-20 mmHg and 20-30 mmHg. Made with high quality
yarns to provide compression therapy for prevention and mild treatments. Medical grade
compression stockings and trouser socks for support all day, every day. Available in 3
styles - women’s sheer stockings; panty hose and knee high length, as well as men’s
trouser socks. All three styles come in 3 sizes; medium, large, and extra-large. The men’s
trouser socks and women’s sheer pantyhose come in black, and women’s sheer knee high comes in black and beige.

Light compression - 15-20 mmHg: provides support that’s ideal for all day, every day
wear, alleviates swelling, pain and achiness, great for travel, long periods of standing/
sitting, and pregnancy. 15-20 mmHg is the most commonly used compression level.

Medium / Moderate compression - 20-30 mmHg: provides support that’s commonly
recommended for Edema, Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), pre and post-surgical procedure,
blood clot prevention and moderate venous insufficiencies. Most frequently prescribed by a doctor for these types of conditions.

The mmHg number indicates the amount of pressure
The higher number indicates the pressure on the ankle, while the lower number indicates
the pressure on the calf.

Compression Features

Diabetic Socks

BIOS Living Diabetic Socks are made without top elastics that can cut off circulation and
restrict blood flow to the feet, they have the ability to stretch and fit most calf sizes without binding and restricting circulation in the leg.

These socks are knitted with moisture wicking special yarns to wick moisture away from
the skin. They are also treated with anti-microbial technology to prevent the growth of
bacteria and fungi in the moisture prone regions of the foot, keeping it healthy. It is vital
to keep the foot dry and avoid moisture collecting on the foot so as not to encourage
bacterial growth; extra moisture can lead to infection.

Easy to put on and take off for both young and elderly people. These socks are seamless,
which will not cause any irritation. They are knit with a flat smooth toe seam as opposed to the raised sewn seams found in ordinary socks which could cause chafing and abrasion.
